A companion pass can be attached to a disabled bus pass where care and support is required at all times. This entitles a second person to travel free of charge with the pass holder. To qualify you will need to provide proof of one of the following:
- proof of higher rate care component of Disability Living Allowance or
- personal independence payment (a score of 8 or more for the "planning and following a journey" activity)
You will need ALL of the following to apply
- Proof of your disability
- Proof of your residency
- A recent passport style photograph
During the application process, there will be an option to upload the documents requested. If you are unable to do this and will be supplying the documents by post, please do not send original documents. An address will be provided on application submission.
