If you are 50+ and live in Bromsgrove, Redditch or Wyre Forest, then Age UK BRWF is here to help! Our aim as a charity is to make North Worcestershire a better place for people to grow older, delivering high quality local services and support for the over fifties, promoting independence and wellbeing.  Core to the charity is it free and confidential Information and Advice service with our trained advisors offering help and support on a range of topics ( including social care, benefits and pensions advice, staying safe, warm and independent at home, as well as support for carers).  Our other services include a Wheel Chair Loan Service, Trusted Traders Register, our At Home Service ( which focuses on supporting people to remain independent in their own homes with our team of Home Workers, Gardeners and Handypersons), Community Foot Care Service, our Befriending service along with a variety of Activities and Groups including Amphlett Hall Computer Clubs, Bromsgrove Men in Sheds, Move More exercise classes, Redditch Activities (including Keep Fit, Art, Bowls and Tai Chi classes) and the Tulip Tree Friendship Group in Kidderminster.  As a charity we offer a range of different volunteering opportunities plus we also have a network of charity shops across North Worcestershire which are important hubs for the communities which they support.

Age UK Worcester & Malvern Hills is an independent local charity, created by the merger of Age UK Worcester & District and Age UK Malvern & District, working across the Worcester City and Malvern Hills areas to support the over 50s. We have been working in the local communities to help older people for many years now. We have assembled a dedicated office & shop staff team and a mass of general public volunteers to help us deliver local services and activities for older people in Worcester & Malvern Hills.

Our services are designed to help anyone over the age 50 get the aid and support they need. Many of our services enable clients to live safely for longer in their own home; helping prevent falls, providing mobility aids, developing confidence and enabling independence.

Worcestershire Libraries have adopted Autism Friendly Standards. Library staff are trained to recognise and respond appropriately to additional needs of people on the autistic spectrum. All libraries have identified appropriate quiet, safe spaces and offer ear defenders for customers with low noise tolerance.

We are one of the only Arts Therapy and Arts Psychotherapy charities that offers all five modalities - Play Therapy, Art Psychotherapy, Music Therapy, Dramatherapy and Dance Movement Psychotherapy. Arts Therapies works in the same way as counselling and psychotherapy but with the added benefit of the art form. This makes therapy less scary and easier to access to all. We have little to no waiting list and a quick turnaround from referral, triage to treatment. We offer free and partially funded therapy.

Established in 1988 Carers Careline have been supporting unpaid, unrecognised carers for over 33 years. Our aim is to promote the health, mental and emotional well-being of unpaid, informal carers living in the local community, carers who support and look after family or friends who wouldn't manage without their help enabling them to stay in their own homes and communities.

Carers Careline support unpaid carers through their programme of services including regular telephone and email support, a drop-in and form filling facility, monthly support groups, activities and trips, a counselling service and bereavement support for the loss of a loved one.

Carers Careline offer help and support to any carer over the age of 18 years

Here at Chillax Art Club, our main objective is to aid youngsters and adults to build self-awareness, explore feelings, address unsettled psychological problems, enhance social abilities and raise self-confidence.
Our Therapeutic art classes aim to aid  all experiencing  psychological and emotional obstacles attain individual health and wellness.
A beautiful, calm and relaxing environment to create.  Groups of 5, working outside to find inner peace through art.  Ages 11 plus during the day and adults early evening.

Every year we help thousands of families to find the right care whether that be care in their own homes or in a care home. When families are faced with making important choices about finding the right
care for a loved one, our team help them through the steps and important decisions involved. Our service is completely free to the client and their family.
