If you are 50+ and live in Bromsgrove, Redditch or Wyre Forest, then Age UK BRWF is here to help! Our aim as a charity is to make North Worcestershire a better place for people to grow older, delivering high quality local services and support for the over fifties, promoting independence and wellbeing.  Core to the charity is it free and confidential Information and Advice service with our trained advisors offering help and support on a range of topics ( including social care, benefits and pensions advice, staying safe, warm and independent at home, as well as support for carers).  Our other services include a Wheel Chair Loan Service, Trusted Traders Register, our At Home Service ( which focuses on supporting people to remain independent in their own homes with our team of Home Workers, Gardeners and Handypersons), Community Foot Care Service, our Befriending service along with a variety of Activities and Groups including Amphlett Hall Computer Clubs, Bromsgrove Men in Sheds, Move More exercise classes, Redditch Activities (including Keep Fit, Art, Bowls and Tai Chi classes) and the Tulip Tree Friendship Group in Kidderminster.  As a charity we offer a range of different volunteering opportunities plus we also have a network of charity shops across North Worcestershire which are important hubs for the communities which they support.


Age UK Worcester & Malvern Hills
Age UK Worcester & Malvern Hills is an independent local charity, created by the merger of Age UK Worcester & District and Age UK Malvern & District, working across the Worcester City and Malvern Hills areas to support the over 50s. We have been working in the local communities to help older people for many years now. We have assembled a dedicated office & shop staff team and a mass of general public volunteers to help us deliver local services and activities for older people in Worcester & Malvern Hills.

Batchley Support Group aims to empower local people by building resident participation and involvement in community activities, promoting regeneration and access to services, reducing inequalities in health, advancing social inclusion and lifelong learning and campaigning on local issues.

Bromsgrove and Redditch Welcome Refugees
We welcome and support Syrian, Afghan and Ukrainian families living in the Bromsgrove and Redditch areas.  This includes provision of English teaching to the above plus asylum seekers housed in the Bromsgrove area.


Brook Farm Community Association
We are a community centre in the heart of Brook Farm in Malvern, we serve Brook Farm, Pickersleigh, and the wider Malvern area. Currently we run the following sessions, but do keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for updates.

      Monday 5-6:30pm - Youth Club - for school years 6 and above,
      Thursday 3:30-5pm - Thursday Project - an after-school-cafe-style-session for primary-school-aged-children and their adults, and
     Friday 9:30-11 - Our Community Pantry - a surplus food redistribution project, we ask for a £3 donation towards this project to help cover our costs, do speak to a member of the team if this is a problem.
     Friday 9:30-11am - Our Community Cafe (last drinks served at 10:45). This Project is run in conjunction with Platform Housing we offer a warm space to hang out, with free drinks and, usually, a sweet treat. Bi-weekly we offer a help centre, with job search support, computer access, and other support.
