Course Description: Our Functional Skills English courses develop practical skills for the modern world and help you get the most from life, learning and work. During the course you will develop communication skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening.  Classes cover everyday word skills like reading and understanding texts - such as forms, newspapers, applications, letters and other types of written information. Features of writing such as spelling, punctuation and grammar are also covered.
