This online workshop, delivered by the Family Place, is for educational professionals and explores changes to the teenage brain, what is happening inside the brain structure during adolescence, and how this presents. The aim is to deepen educators' understanding leading to improved pupil engagement and participation in learning.

Additional Information: The Family Place is a specialist therapeutic service providing assessment, therapy, training and professional consultation to organisations including schools, colleges and early years settings. We provide therapy interventions for children, young people and families who have experienced early years developmental trauma, including adoptive, foster, SGO and kinship care families. All our trainers are highly qualified clinicians and have deep understanding about the real challenges facing parents and carers.
