Changes and transitions within a child’s life can create uncertainty. They can be small things like finishing playing a game or getting ready for dinner to big things like starting a new school. This free, interactive workshop will provide parents and carers with strategies and resources to support their child through changes.
Who it is for
This session is for parents and carers of children and young people who have or may have SEND who struggle with change or are approaching a significant transition.
From this workshop you can expect:
- Practical guidance and tips on how to support your child through change
- Interactive activities to help create a personalised transition booklet.
- The opportunity to ask questions and discuss real-life scenarios
By the end of the session, parents and carers will have a clear action plan to support their young person to navigate change.Additional Information: This session can be delivered either as a one off or a series of interactive workshops with practical discussions and real-life examples.
