Dyslexia affects how a person processes language, making reading, writing, and spelling more challenging. This free interactive workshop, run by SENDIASS and hosted by Learning Services Worcestershire, provides parents and carers with a clearer understanding of dyslexia and practical strategies to support their child’s learning.
Who is it for? This session is for parents and carers of children who have been diagnosed with dyslexia or are showing signs of having difficulties with reading and writing.
What to Expect:
- An introduction to dyslexia, how it affects learning, and common challenges children may face.
- Practical strategies to help children develop their reading, writing, and spelling skills at home.
- Information on how to work with schools to access support and reasonable adjustments.
