506 - Save Money With Your Smartphone

Description: 
The course will enable you to use more of your phone or tablet's functions to save money. We will look at methods to improve your cost of living and budgeting using the internet and various apps. You will also be supported with some simple maths tricks which will help you to budget! The overall aims are to improve your understanding of how your smartphone or tablet works and to help you to use it to save money. 

By the end of the course you will:
  • Improve your confidence to use your mobile devices to manage living costs and find solutions on the internet by using applications.
  • Increase your knowledge of how to use the internet safely to search for information or jobs.
  • Be able to use the information gained from internet searches to plan budgets and make cost savings
Additional Information: 

Most of our courses are subsidised by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). They require us to collect information from learners to monitor how we use the funding the give us. After booking, you will need to provide extra enrolment data. We only collect necessary information and follow our privacy notice. Without this information, we may not be able to offer you a place.
