Description:
The course will enable you to use more of your phone or tablet's functions to save money. We will look at methods to improve your cost of living and budgeting using the internet and various apps. You will also be supported with some simple maths tricks which will help you to budget! The overall aims are to improve your understanding of how your smartphone or tablet works and to help you to use it to save money.
This course is run in conjunction with Multiply - a UK government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. If you do not have a Level 2 (GCSE or Functional Skills) qualification in maths, please choose this as your concession criteria when you book with us.

Additional Information: By the end of the course you will:
- Improve your confidence to use your mobile devices to manage living costs and find solutions on the internet by using applications.
- Increase your knowledge of how to use the internet safely to search for information or jobs.
- Be able to use the information gained from internet searches to plan budgets and make cost savings
Most of our courses are subsidised either wholly or in part by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). The ESFA require us to collect information about our learners to monitor how their funding is being spent and to gauge the effectiveness of our equality and diversity policy. You will therefore be asked to submit further enrolment data once you have booked your place. We only collect data that is required by the ESFA, and use it in line with our privacy notice. We may not be able to offer you a place on our courses if you're unable to provide us with the required information.
