Have you ever wanted to try your hand at working with textiles? This course will introduce you to an exciting range of textiles techniques and give you the opportunity to experiment with them in a creative way. You will explore stitch and yarn, embellishment and applique and other textile techniques such as felt making and weaving. You will create a range of samples which you can present in a textile journal/ sketchbook, alongside creating small textiles products and artworks along the way. Throughout the course you will be introduced to artists and designers working with textiles to inspire you and help your own textiles skills flourish.
