Would you benefit from refreshing your knowledge of using Microsoft Word and Excel? The course will improve your confidence with using more of their functions at work or home.
You will learn how to create Word documents for different purposes, including letters, posters and flyers. This will include how to add pictures and text as well as how to enhance your creations by changing the colour and size of text. You will also learn how to add tables and lists and use headers.
With Excel, you will discover how to create spreadsheets, tables, and budget lists. We will also support you to develop your maths skills along the way, through using formulas and graphs.
By the end of the course you will:
- Be able to use a word processing application to create simple documents
- Be able to use the internet safely to search for information on a given subject
- Be able to use spreadsheet software to enter and manipulate data and to change this data into a useful table or chart
