Description:
Please note: Our #Community Projects are for those that live in the immediate area surrounding the project venue.
We invite you to join one of our exciting and rewarding Community Projects that will benefit you and your local community!
What is a Community Project?:
It's whatever you and the other people on the Project Team want it to be! You might come together and decide to brighten up a play area, create a display for a shop window to make the area more appealing, revamp a community garden, create craft products to sell for charity, or even make blankets for a local hospital or care home - the list of ideas is endless...and it's up to you as a community what you do!
The Community Project team (you and other people from your neighbourhood) will be supported by our Community Tutor, who will support and guide you in whatever you decide to do. Whatever you create will brighten up your community or benefit others in some way and bring a smile to the faces of people who live and work around you. Being generous to others brings about inner happiness and an increase in our self-esteem and it can bring a community together! So, get involved!
Additional Information:
- This is a free course.
- No experience is required

Work alongside people from your community, share experience, learn new skills, make decisions as both a group and as an individual. Being generous to others brings about inner happiness and an increase in our self esteem - and it can bring a community together.
Note: Our Community Projects are designed for those that live in the immediate area surrounding where the Community Project is taking place. The idea is to engage with the local neighbourhood, meaning it is ideally for those that live within that neighbourhood/community. If, however you do not live in this area but are interested in the possibility of a Community Project where you live, get in touch with us at adultlearning@worcetershire.gov.uk and we can look at putting on one within YOUR community :)
Our course fees are subsidised by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). They require us to collect information from learners to monitor how we use the funding they give us. After booking, you will need to provide extra enrolment data. We only collect necessary information and follow our privacy notice. Without this information, we may not be able to offer you a place. Your cooperation helps us to offer subsidised learning throughout Worcestershire.
