Whether you're new to writing or looking to develop your storytelling skills, this welcoming course will introduce you to the key elements of creative writing in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Through writing prompts, group discussions, and inspiration from published writers, you'll explore character creation, setting, plot structure, poetry, and creative non-fiction. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with different styles of writing, develop your own unique voice, and build the confidence to express your ideas on the page.
Along the way, you'll discover how creative writing can support wellbeing through self-expression, reflection, creativity, and connection with others. No previous writing experience is required.
