The Leader of the Council, Councillor Simon Geraghty and the Chief Executive Paul Robinson are fully involved in the flooding situation that is affecting the County. They have authorised the use of County Council resources to be used to assist the multi-agency response. Residents can be assured that teams from the County Council are working on the ground to deal with highways issues and are providing support to other services where required.
As in all situations of this type residents are advised to closely monitor the developing situation via official media announcements and via the County Council’s social media channels and respond to any information provided.

Flood advice centres open across Worcestershire

Worcester Information Hub - The Hive, Sawmill Cl, The Butts, Worcester WR1 3PD - opening hours this weekend 10am until 4pm
Bewdley Information Hub – Bewdley Library Dog Lane, Bewdley DY12 2EF - opening hours this weekend 10am until 4pm. People can pick up Flood Information Packs produced by Wyre Forest District Council in association with North Worcestershire Water Management.
Upton Information Hub – Upton Library, School Lane, Upton upon Severn, Worcester WR8 0LE - opening hours this weekend 10 am until 4 pm

Government announces thousands of pounds of support including grants, council tax relief and business rate relief for people and businesses in areas affected by flooding.
Areas of Worcestershire continue to experience flooding with many roads closed across the county. Please do not venture close to swollen rivers and only go out if you absolutely have to.

Diglis Footbridge remains closed until inspected and cleaned.
Kempsey Ford, Squires Walk, diversion via Main Road (A38) and Church Street.

Malvern Hills     
Boraston Ford, diversion via Boraston Road, A456 and Aston Court Road.
New Street Upton on Severn closed between The Old Fire Station to the Fruit Farm U61204 junction.
New Street Upton on Severn closed from The Old Fire Station to Brotheridge Green.
Waterside, Upton on Severn is open for pedestrian access only due to pumping equipment on site.
Hanley Road B4211, Upton on Severn closed between Hanley Road Car Park and Brotharidge Green Lane U61203 junction, follow the solid black circle symbol diversion route.
