Getting to grips with the new Inspection Data Summary Report (IDSR) 

This online session will provide Headteachers, senior leaders and governors with a practical understanding of the updated IDSR and how Ofsted Inspectors will use the IDSR as a pre-inspection tool to explore achievement, attendance and the school’s context. The IDSR summarises and analyses the data (statistical information) that is available about a school. It is designed to be used alongside Ofsted’s Toolkit, to guide inspectors’ conversations with school leaders. Come along to learn more about how to use and interpret the report to support your self-evaluation.

During this session we will explore:

• The purpose and principles of the IDSR
• How to use and interpret the information in the IDSR to celebrate successes and validate self-evaluation
• How inspectors will use the IDSR to explore achievement and how well children thrive
