Additional Information: Feedback from Crowle Pre-School - Books and storytelling forms a huge part of our everyday provision for our children so to think of our Learning walk as an opportunity to tell our story makes absolute sense.
The Webcast in its own right is packed full of information and is incredibly thought provoking from a practice and provision perspective and combined with the Telling your story tool, the whole thing just pops. It provides a great CPD opportunity for individuals and is a brilliant self-assessment tool for teams.
We loved the fact that we could pause and discuss regularly and make lots of notes. I am a huge note taker when training and I sometimes find this difficult, writing and keeping up with live discussions. We loved that it made us stop and think about all of the things that we do really well and that we need to give ourselves a little more credit than we do. It did however, highlight gaps, some that we had already highlighted others that we hadn't but we can now add these to our FIP and work together to overcome these.
As a Manager, I will definitely be utilising the tool over the coming weeks. As a team, we have planned some further meetings based around the tool, focusing on each layer of our story so that we can grow in confidence and celebrate and showcase our wonderful Preschool.
