We are pleased to welcome John Lefevre as one of our Keynote Speakers. John is the National Safeguarding Partnership Facilitator for Education, now working with the Department of Education to support colleagues at all levels within local safeguarding partnerships to effectively engage education in safeguarding. John until July 2023 worked as a primary headteacher and a designated safeguarding lead for 17 years and is extremely passionate about safeguarding children.
You will also get to hear from Jon Needham. Jon trained as a nurse for adolescents with life limiting illness before moving to become an advisor to a strategic health authority and a commissioner within a PCT. He moved to become the education safeguarding advisor within a local authority and for the past 6 years he has worked as the Director of Safeguarding & Well-being in a multi-academy trust.
