8204: Pathfinder Training

Hereford and Worcestershire are delivering joint training for social work practitioners regarding the implementation of Pathfinder by the MOJ.

Please join the training for information and advice on the impact of Pathfinder and practical training on the completion of Child Impact Reports.

Pathfinder MOJ (Ministry of Justice) is a pioneering pilot program in the UK's family courts designed to reform private law proceedings by resolving issues between parents more quickly and reducing conflict, especially for families affected by domestic abuse. It achieves this through improved information gathering, better collaboration between agencies like police and children's services, earlier involvement of children's voices, and the use of specialist support services such as IDVAs. The initiative aims to reduce court delays, improve welfare outcomes, and provide a less adversarial and more child-focused experience for families.
