Join this free, one-hour session for professionals to learn about key support services covering Worcestershire and how to contact them.

Workshop on the management of allegations against professionals and volunteers working with children and young people in a position of trust. 

Aims: This session is in addition to the Raising Awareness of Exploitation and Vulnerability. This workshop aims to provide you with practical knowledge of the GET SAFE processes for partners within Worcestershire, and provide case examples of GET SAFE Risk Assessments 

This workshop is for all agencies and professionals who need to have an understanding of the levels of need in Worcestershire 

Retirement for many people involves an abrupt and considerable change to their pattern of life. This course aims, in a practical and supportive way, to consider this change and to offer information on financial matters.

This session will cover the four areas:
 • What is Early Help?
• How to creatively gather the childs voice
• Completing an Early Help Assessment
• Holding a team around the family meeting

You will need to read the case study to complete this event. These sessions are being delivered by our Signs of Safety trainer who will introduce the key principles of the model and how to implement this into practice, an opportunity to learn key skills in mapping, danger statements and safety goals with an opportunity to practice in a safe space. This will be an opportunity to ask any questions and how to access resources and tools. This is a vital session for all new starters in Social Care
