Completing an Early Help Assessment

These sessions are for: Police Officers, Probation, Housing officers, Designated Safeguarding Leads, School/College Head teachers, Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Senco's, Health Visitors, Midwives, Paediatric Nurses, School Nurses, GP's, Social Prescribers, Young Carers, Early Years staff, Youth Workers and other staff who work with children and families including voluntary services.  (this is not an exhaustive list, just to illustrate who the session is aimed at)
 
This session will include:
• Speakers from Education, Health - each will explore how they complete and Early Help assessments in their own organisation and how this contributes to supporting children and families at the earliest opportunity
By the end of the session delegates will be able to:
• Understand and describe how to complete a strengths based Early Help assessment
• How to use Signs of Safety language and approach in completing an Early Help assessment
• How Early Help Assessments are used to support whole family working
