This course is for employees who are acting as fire wardens, employees who have a delegated duty to manage a building i.e. officer in charge duties, facilities management. All employees to achieve an awareness of fire safety.
Learning outcomes:
By the end of this course you will be able to:
• Identify fire hazards, sources of ignition and fuel types
• Identify fire spread within a building
• Fire prevention management
• Identify fire classification types and the relevant fire extinguishers for differing types of fire
• Establish when and how to operate extinguishers safely
• Establish the Fire Warden duties and how to evacuate safely
